The Housing Confirmation Form must be completed by all students, including those who are not requesting on-campus housing.
Living on campus is a great way to make friends during your time at New Paltz. You will also have easy access to campus resources and activities. Additional information about on-campus housing can be found on the Residence Life website.
You can reserve a room on-campus by submitting the Housing Confirmation by the deadline (link to the Form is at the bottom of the page).
All students living on campus must have a meal plan. Details about meal plans can be found on the Food Services website.
Students staying on campus during academic breaks (e.g., winter recess, spring break) must live in designated 10-month buildings. These buildings are for international students, athletes, and student teachers.
Please note that bedding is not provided, even during the first night of your stay. Students are required to buy twin-XL bedding. Options include:
Bring bedding from home.
Purchase bedding and have it shipped to campus before your arrival – more information about this option will be emailed.
Buy bedding during the shopping trip on the first day of orientation.
Log in to your My ISS-Profile.
Click on "2. Requests."
Under “What Can We Help You With”, see your request options, and click on the request you would like to make (choose Housing Confirmation).

• Complete the Housing Confirmation Questionnaire.
• Comments: If you requested a room in the residence hall on campus, you can enter the additional comments. Due to the limited space, any specific residence or roommate request will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
