International Student Health Insurance
While on OPT or STEM extension, students are under the visa sponsorship of SUNY New Paltz. Students are therefore able to purchase the SUNY International Student Health Insurance during the OPT or STEM extension period.
Things to consider:
If you change visa status you are no longer be eligible for the SUNY International Student Health Insurance. For example if you change from F-1 to H1b, you will need to find new insurance coverage.
