Report Change of US Physical Address
SEVP - Student and Exchange Visitor Program requires all students completing 12 months of OPT and 24 Month STEM OPT to report employment and U.S. address (changes/updates) to International Student Programs. You must report these changes within 10 days of the change.
To make sure you receive the best guidance and ensure your SEVIS record is accurate, we encourage you to use the International Student Platform to report employment changes and change of address.

From the Personal & Program Page >> Contact Information >> US Physical Address>>
Special Considerations
- If your employment details have changed, be sure to update your complete the OPT Employer Update in the “What Can We Help You With” section.
Procedure

Log in to your My OPT Profile.

Click on “2. Requests”

Under “What Can We Help You With”, see your request options, and click on the Contact Information Update Request.

Update Physical Address Line 1, City, State, Zip Code

Complete the Contact Information Update

Submit
You will receive an email once your address is updated in SEVIS.
