Steps to Enrollment at New Paltz 

 

1.  Making Your Commitment To SUNY New Paltz
(Mandatory for undergraduate & graduate students.)
Undergraduate Enrollment   ♦   Graduate Enrollment  
Submit your Pre-Enrollment Deposit online.   You can use Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Ach Check to pay your Pre-Enrollment Deposit.  
 

2.  Health Report and Physician’s Certificate of Immunization 
(Mandatory for all new international students.)
Student Health Report
All new international students, regardless of age, number of credits taken, or previous college attendance, are required by New York State to submit the Health Report and Physician’s Certificate of Immunization directly to the Student Health Center at healthservice@newpaltz.edu.

All International Students are required to purchase the SUNY Health Insurance policy.  Students are automatically enrolled in the SUNY Health Insurance policy when they enroll in classes.   We do not accept applications for waivers of the insurance requirement from those students who are under the immigration sponsorship of SUNY New Paltz.


3.  Arrival & Housing 
Review the below two forms and complete as necessary

Airport Pick-Up Request << this is optional for all international students.  
​If you arrive in New York on or before the official airport pickup date, you may use our direct shuttle service from JFK airport to New Paltz. Follow the link above to make your request.   

On-Campus Housing Request  << this is only available/applicable to Undergrad and ESL students.
 

4. New International Student Orientation 
(Mandatory for all new international students.)
Orientation ProgramThe International Student Orientation and Registration Program is required for all new international students.
